Still others have breathtaking views of downtown Seattle, and if you live on the east side of Magnolia hill, you're treated to a territorial view of Seattle and the Cascade Mountains. If you're looking for view property, it's hard to fare poorly in Magnolia.

Just minutes from downtown Seattle, Magnolia is an enclave noted particularly for the spectacular Discovery Park, 500 acres of fields, woods, and jogging trails. Discovery Park is one of the largest urban parks in America.

Fisherman's Terminal Another Seattle landmark, Fisherman's Terminal is also located in Magnolia, just to the west of the Ballard Bridge. Home to nearly 700 fishing vessels, many of the huge fishing boats that head north to Alaska each year are moored at Fisherman's terminal.
